About the Role: The Walk in Centres (WiCs) are primary health services open from 07:30 - 22:30 staffed with one Administration officer each shift, Advanced Practice Nurses and Nurse Practitioners who provide episodic care for injury and illness to the ACT community and surrounds. The Administration Service Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the rosters/workload and administration staff requirements for all Walk in Centres (approximately 15-20 staff). The Administration Service Coordinator routinely works standard business hours Monday to Friday, however, can be asked to work outside of core working hours based on operational requirements. North Canberra Hospital - As of 3 July 2023 Calvary Public Hospital Bruce transitioned to CHS and became North Canberra Hospital. The transition will deliver a health system networked under one provider and will provide increased workforce opportunities for staff at both CHS sites. The ACT Government will be building a new northside hospital on the existing hospital campus in Bruce to meet the growing health care needs of our community, with construction to commence mid-decade providing more beds, increased services, and increased career opportunities.
