Civil Infrastructure Group was founded in early 2016 to provide specialist Subcontracting services in the Construction of reinforced and post-tension concrete structures working across major Projects like the West Gate Tunnel and the majority of Level Crossing Removal Projects.

Today, positioned as a leader in our field with more than 100 years of industry experience ranging from Engineering & Design, were seeking a experienced Solid Plasterer.

The successful applicant will report to the site supervisor daily,

Duties are:

· Assessing partitions to determine plaster layout

· Measuring, clearly marking and cutting materials to size

• Making incisions to access window openings, installing installation, applying adhesive to partitions
• Lifting, carrying and positioning plasterboard and fastening to walls, battens or ceilings using nails or screws and other apparatus where needed
• Potentially fitting and installing mouldings
• Ensuring all joins and screw are closed using a sealing mixture
• Sand /Smoothen surfaces/Planes using sandpaper or power sanders
• Hand tools such as Stanley knives, hammers, tape measures, levels, hand trowels, sanding blocks, hand saws and screw drivers are used (being familiar with the above would be advantageous)
• Ensure fireproofing materials are correctly bonded with plaster and other materials where necessary

To be considered for this position the successful applicant will need to have the following qualifications or skills:

AQF Certificate III or IV in the relevant field,

Or

A minimum of 3 years experience in the field will substitute for the formal qualification
