As a Budget Officer and Cost Recovery Officer, you will be expected to:

• Assist to coordinate budget processes for both internal and external budgets.
• Assist to develop and maintain external budgets within Central Budget Management System (CBMS).
• Assist with the preparation of complex financial reports and analysis, which includes external budget documentation and publications, costing submissions for new policy proposals, and internal budget bid submissions. Maintain, deliver and report on the end-to-end cost recovery process, including the monthly staff survey process and ACMA activity codes register.
• Assist with developing and maintaining the activity-based management model and preparing the cost recovery implementation statements (CRIS) relating to cost recovered activities.
• Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders regarding any budget and cost recovery matters.
• Identify improvement opportunities within the Section and across the Branch, including streamlining and simplifying policies and practices.
• Manage your own workload to ensure timely and accurate delivery of outcomes.
