Your Role as a Food Service Assistant

As an FSA, youll play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen and care teams by ensuring residents receive high-quality meals in a safe, hygienic environment.

Set up dining areas and serveries for meal times.Prepare tea trolleys and refreshments for residents.Maintain food safety standards, including dishwashing and cleaning.Assist with meal preparation when required.Ensure compliance with the Food Safety Program (e.g., temperature checks, cleaning schedules).

What You Bring

✔ Experience in hospitality, catering, or aged care (preferred but not essential).✔ Knowledge of Australian Food Standards & Food Safety.✔ Strong communication skills and attention to detail.✔ Ability to work independently and in a team.✔ Digital literacy to manage records and food safety documentation.

Pay: $31.23 - $35.02 per hour
