The Energy & Resources (E&R) Program is responsible for delivering impact and value to improve the safety, reliability, resilience and productivity of the energy and resources sectors in Australia and the Asia-Pacific Region. The E&R Projects Lead, under the broad direction of the General Manager, Energy & Resources and in partnership with the Sector Leads and Service Delivery Manager, oversees project and program management within E&Rs growing portfolio. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Projects Lead, with an in-depth knowledge and experience in project, program and people management, to shape and drive E&Rs capability in achieving our strategic objectives. This role requires knowledge of project delivery and assurance methods, and well-developed communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across multi-disciplinary programs within the Bureau. Programs include the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office, various programs within the Data and Digital Group, Research, Research to Operations, and operational teams. The Projects Lead position would suit an applicant with a high degree of initiative and leadership capability. Experience establishing strong working relationships with stakeholders and team members and employing a consultative and influencing approach is essential. The Projects Lead reports to the General Manager Energy and Resources.
