About the opportunity Position: Supervisor Gardening Team Vacancy: Permanent Full-time, 76 hours per fortnight Location: Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services, Townsville Whats on offer? Remuneration package of up to $80,680 p.a. Salary range: $67,462 to $70,712 p.a. (OO3) 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation Plus great Salary Sacrificing options Flexible working arrangements may be available About the role Assist in coordination and the delivery of preventative and corrective landscaping maintenance services across the THHS Townsville facilities in compliance with applicable legislation and standards including Workplace Health & Safety regulations. This includes landscaping hardscape, softscapes and irrigation maintenance works. Supervison of OO2 Groundsperson staff to ensure scheduled tasks are completed on a daily basis to an acceptable level by monitoring performance and quality. Report any ongoing issues to the Team Leader. Ensure that work allocated is carried out promptly and efficiently to the highest standards using the most appropriate materials and equipment for the particular application. Role requirements Whilst not mandatory, a relevant Horticulture qualification or equivalent would be well regarded for this position. Demonstrated ability to undertake tasks safely in a manual handling environment. Other desirable training/certification includes: Chain saw operator General Safety Induction Elevated Work Platform Traffic Controller First Aid/CPR This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this vehicle is required.
