The AIR 5428 Pilot Training System partners with the Australian Defence Force for development of its military pilot workforce at four operating bases, RAAF Base East Sale, RAAF Base Pearce, RAAF Base Edinburgh, and RAAF Base Williamtown. Implementing a tailored learning solution, Lockheed Martin leads the delivery of this approach for all Royal Australian Air Force, Royal Australian Navy and the Australian Army candidates; as well as supporting operations for other key Australian Defence Force aviation units.

Your responsibilities will include:

Under general direction, the Program Scheduling Officer in Bullsbrook is responsible for gathering, summarising, interpreting, reporting, and maintaining information regarding schedule activities; planning and developing current flight schedules resulting in efficient service, optimum use of aircraft and other resources; modifying, revising, and providing economic analysis of schedule plans. Duties:

• Plan Daily and Weekly Programming activities within the current scheduling environment
• Transact with Ultra FP in the promulgation of the Daily Flying Program (DFP)
• Program short term training events
• Provide each operating unit a single SME POC for update to and co-ordination of the DFP
• Provide input to continuous improvement activity

About you:

Essential

• Excellent experience or capacity to perform personnel and asset scheduling
• Advanced communication skills
• Proactive approach, with a strong customer focus
• Able to effectively communicate to senior management for both internal and external stakeholders

Desirable Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent relevant work experience.

Special Requirements:

Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
