About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and enthstic candidate with a strong interest in computer vision, AI, and robotics. The ideal candidate will have solid programming skills, particularly in Python, and be well-organized and proactive in their approach to research. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential, as demonstrated through previous academic work, including publications in peer-reviewed journals. The successful applicant will be capable of working independently while also contributing to team discussions and collaborative research projects. About You To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Demonstrated extensive experience in computer vision and artificial intelligence
  • Published 2-3 research papers in top-tier venues (ICCV, CVPR, ICIP, ICPR, IEEE Transactions, Springer journals)
  • Strong proficiency in Python and PyTorch with proven implementation capabilities
  • Substantial experience on deep learning projects, particularly in object detection, segmentation, and classification
  • Hands-on experience with sensing technologies, drone operations, or robotic systems
  • Working knowledge of Linux operating systems
