National Logistics Pty Ltd is a family owned transport company based in Melbourne. We have currently widened our business and are looking for an experienced operations clerk to join our friendly team.
This role includes:
Manifesting of linehaul trucks
Chep/Loscam controller
Oversee transport planning and time-sensitive delivery coordination
Booking of timeslots
Handle customer inquiries and build proactive communication rhythms, assist with tracking and tracing of freight.
Advocate for customer needs internally while balancing operational realities
Keep systems and teams aligned through clear updates
Solve problems in real time
Liaise with external third-party freight providers and forwarders
Answering incoming customer calls
Data entry of freight bookings
The ideal candidate would have:
Strong customer Service experience is needed
Good communication skills (verbal & written).
Teamwork skills (effectively working with others).
Ability to provide customer service support.
Strong administration skills
Positive attitude, reliable and efficient.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Efficient time management, planning, and organisational skills.
Problem-solving using resources and teamwork.
Prior transport industry experience (highly desirable).
· Full-Time Position
· 5 Days Per Week, Overtime will apply (Monday - Friday)
