Machine Operator

There are a number of positions available across our Day shift, Afternoon shifts and Night shift, for Machine Operator at our Campbellfield site. Casual positions available for immediate start. There maybe opportunities for the right candidate to transfer to a permanent fulltime Machine operator role. 

Reporting to the Production Team Leader, as a machine operator you will: 

• Demonstrate excellent safety leadership by always following established safety procedures and actively looking for opportunities to improve safety. 

• Be accountable for the quality, operation and fault finding of injection moulding, blow moulding and PET machines.  

• Be expected to quickly become familiar in operating, diagnosing and rectifying problems with machines. 

• Be self-motivated, persistent and resilient in furthering your operating knowledge and learning new machines. 

• Take ownership for the area you are working in by ensuring world class housekeeping and attention to detail.

• Be self-motivated, persistent and resilient in advocating for maintenance attention and improvement throughout the plant.

The successful candidate will be:

• Able to demonstrate their mechanical aptitude.

• Able to demonstrate and give examples of their structured approach to problem solving.

• Able to demonstrate and give examples of their willingness to learn and take responsibility for improving their capability.

• A team player and able to give examples of their ability to remain respectful and professional in challenging situations. 

• Blow moulders and injection moulders experience preferably but not essential.
