About The Business

Yancoal Australia, Mount Thorley Warkworth (MTW) is an open cut mine located 15 kilometres south‑west of Singleton in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales. Job Tasks And Responsibilities

• Develop, review and deliver internal training across site.
• Deliver training and assessment in isolation, site induction, contractor supervision & light vehicle operations.
• Maintain legislative and regulatory standards for training documents and procedures.
• Source, arrange and coordinate external training as well as involvement with training audits.
• Coach and provide feedback to stakeholders and training participants.

Skills And Experience

Essential Criteria

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Training role.
• Excellent presentation & communication skills.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Well‑developed range of enterprise skills.

Desirable Criteria

• Previous surface coal operational experience in a training role.
• Knowledge of Pegasus/Avetta Portal.
• Knowledge of CS Order 34 guidelines.
