About the roleG&B Stainless is looking for a hardworking and motivated Trade Assistant to join our team in Crestmead, Queensland. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in supporting our skilled tradespeople and contributing to the overall success of our operations.
What you'll be doing
Assisting tradespeople with various tasks and projects as directed
Performing basic maintenance and cleaning duties to keep the work environment organised and safe
Using a variety of hand and power tools
Supporting welding tasks (welding knowledge/experience is essential)
Contributing to a positive and dependable team environment
Following all safety protocols and wearing the required personal protective equipment
What we're looking for
Experience working as a Trade Assistant or in a similar labourer role within the trades and services industry as well as the food industry.
Strong team player with good communication skills and attention to detail
Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks safely and efficiently
A positive, reliable, and hardworking attitude
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment
Having a Drivers licence and a valid Forklift ticket would be highly desirable (LF)
