This is a 12 month fixed term, part-time (0.8FTE) position commencing Term 1, 2026 with possible extension and/or permanency

The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Physical Education (PE) teacher to lead our specialist PE program across Kindergarten to Year 6 (K-6). The successful applicant should foster a love of movement, teamwork and healthy lifestyles while contributing to our whole-school approach to wellbeing and student engagement.

The successful applicant will deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate PE lessons aligned with the WA Curriculum. The successful applicant should promote physical literacy, sportsmanship and teamwork across all year levels, as well as organise and lead school-wide sporting events, carnivals and interschool competitions. The successful applicant should collaborate with staff to integrate wellbeing and regulation strategies, including the Berry Street Education Model (BSEM). They should support student agency and growth mindset through inclusive and differentiated instructions and maintain safe and stimulating outdoor learning environments.
