As our Security Engineering Specialist reporting to the Head of Security Engineering, you will be responsible for implementing, uplifting and maintaining security platforms, technologies, tools and internal processes

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will ensure our continuous protection from cyber threats.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Research, evaluate, and select new security platforms and controls to address evolving threats and vulnerabilities
  • Assist with building and testing of new security solutions.
  • Identify and implement improvements for existing security tools and platforms
  • Work closely with IT operations, security analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure security controls are aligned with business needs
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of all security tools.
  • Ensure the implementation of security controls aligns with enterprise architecture, engineering, design, and assurance requirements.

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in security engineering or a related role
  • Strong understanding of security best practices and frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, CIS Controls).
  • In-depth knowledge of security tools and technologies, including but not limited to.
    • SIEM and SOAR platforms, ideally experience with Microsoft Sentinel SIEM.
    • Endpoint Detection and Response tools, ideally experience with CrowdStrike Falcon.
    • Vulnerability Management platforms, ideally experience with Tenable.
  • Familiarity with or experience in leveraging AI for security purposes is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field
