Are you passionate about turning data into decisions? Rip Curl is looking for a Digital Insights Analyst to help unlock the power of data and drive our digital transformation. Based in Torquay, you'll be part of a dynamic team at the heart of one of the world's most iconic surf brands.

In this role, you'll dive deep into ecommerce performance, customer behaviour, and campaign effectiveness—delivering insights that fuel innovation and growth across our digital, marketing, product, and retail teams. 

What You'll Do:

Data & Analysis Reporting

• Analyse data from websites, email, paid media, loyalty programs, and more
• Track product productivity and ecommerce performance
• Build and maintain dashboards using Power BI, Google Studio, and Excel
• Deliver weekly/monthly reports and customer segment insights

Insights & Strategy

• Identify audience trends and behaviours to inform strategy
• Provide competitor benchmarking and market insights
• Present findings in clear, intuitive formats for cross-functional teams

Optimisation & Experimentation

• Support A/B and multivariate testing to improve conversion and UX
• Collaborate with UX and CRO teams to enhance site performance
• Monitor key KPIs like bounce rate, CTR, conversion rate, and CAC

Stakeholder Management

• Align insights with business goals across teams and agencies
• Translate complex data into actionable recommendations
• Provide training and support on dashboards and tools
• Collaborate with Group IT on data architecture and integration

Data Foundations & Integrity

• Ensure data quality and consistency across reports
• Automate reporting using SQL and Power BI
• Maintain documentation and validate data warehouse inputs

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or Mathematics and/or equivalent relevant experience
• 3+ years in a similar analytics or insights role
• Advanced Excel and SQL skills
• Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, and Google Analytics
• Strong data storytelling and stakeholder communication skills
• Commercial acumen and cross-functional collaboration experience
