Opportunity

This is an exciting chance to provide high-level support to the Head of Nominal Insurer and the broader NSW workers compensation team. You’ll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly, managing priorities, and ensuring seamless communication across the business. Responsibilities
  • Deliver proactive administrative support to the Head of, ensuring alignment with departmental priorities and business plans.
  • Organise and manage internal and external meetings, while supporting broader team events such as town halls and planning days, including handling logistics, taking minutes, and tracking actions.
  • Coordinate travel itineraries and handle confidential matters with professionalism and discretion.
  • Maintain accurate filing systems and manage incoming correspondence promptly for easy accessibility.
  • Screen, prioritise, and redirect communications to ensure timely responses and effective stakeholder engagement.
About You
  • Prior experience as a Personal Assistant is advantageous however not essential – transferable skills are equally valued.
  • Highly organised with strong time‑management skills, able to prioritise competing tasks and maintain attention to detail under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications and quick to learn new systems, with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
  • Demonstrates initiative, curiosity, and a willingness to try new things, think creatively, and support broader team objectives.
  • Flexible and collaborative, keen to expand skills and contribute to the wider Workers Compensation function and People Risk team.
