Job description:
The role
Support the centre in maintaining a high-quality standard of middle childhood education and care.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Ensure compliance with the Education and Care National Law and Regulations, including the National Quality standards, at all times.
- Assist in the implementation of an innovative and reflective middle childhood education program that is reflective of the principles, practices and outcomes of the Middle Year Learning Framework
- Contribute to a collaborative team through shared learning, a positive attitude, and sound communication skills.
- Develop and maintain meaningful, respectful relationships with children families, colleagues, community members, management and other relevant professionals.
- Observe and document childrens learning and development using a variety of methods.

You will have
- Working with Children Check.
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate including Asthma and Anaphylaxis.
- Experience in providing quality learning experience and environments for young people.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate positively and build trusting relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional learning and development.
- Effective communication skills.
The salary range for this opportunity starts at $36 per hour (Grade C, Step1) + 12% super. Salary may be negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
