Our client, a well‑established motorcycle dealership and service centre situated in the scenic Tablelands region near Cairns, is seeking a qualified Motorcycle Mechanic to join their busy workshop.

About the Role

In this hands‑on role, you’ll perform a variety of mechanical and electrical tasks to ensure motorcycles are maintained and repaired to the highest standards. You’ll work closely with a friendly team of professionals who share your passion for bikes and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct service, maintenance, and repair work on a wide range of motorcycles (Mainly Quad Bikes and Side‑by‑side bikes)
  • Perform fault diagnosis and resolve electrical issues efficiently
  • Identify required parts, order as necessary, and maintain accurate stock levels
  • Manage your own workflow and job priorities effectively
  • Support and mentor apprentices and junior team members
  • Maintain a safe and tidy workspace and ensure all tools are kept in good working condition
  • Deliver a high level of customer service and uphold workshop quality standards
About You

You are a trade‑qualified motorcycle mechanic who thrives in a dynamic workshop environment. You take pride in your work, have strong attention to detail, and are committed to providing exceptional service.

Key Requirements
  • Motorcycle Mechanic Trade Qualification (AQF Certificate III or IV)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in motorcycle servicing and repairs
  • Solid electrical diagnostic skills (essential)
  • Work On Chainsaws & Mowers & Generators
  • Current open Motorcycle and Car Licence
  • Own tools and reliable transport (essential)
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
