Finance Officer (Temporary – Long Service Leave Cover)

Location: Perth (NOR)

Contract: 4 Months Temp

Overview

Techforce is seeking an experienced Finance Officer for a 4-month temporary assignment with a reputable Mining & Civil contractor based north of the river. This position provides long service leave coverage within a busy, standalone finance function.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
  • MYOB journals, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
  • Payroll reconciliation and superannuation support
  • BAS reconciliation and compliance support
  • Timesheet reconciliation and apprentice charge-out calculations
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Management of government funding claims including ADMS, WAAMS, CTF, DTWD and DIS
  • Grant tracking, reporting, and acquittals
  • Pricing, quoting, and revenue tracking
  • Banking and credit card reconciliations
  • Data management across finance and operational systems, including Powerpro
Systems
  • Exposure to ADMS, WAAMS, TAMS, and Workready
About You
  • Previous experience in a Finance Officer, Senior Bookkeeper, or Assistant Accountant position
  • Strong working knowledge of MYOB
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end accounting processes
  • Experience with payroll reconciliation and BAS
  • Exposure to government funding, training, or not-for-profit environments will be highly regarded
  • The ability to work independently in a broad and fast-paced role
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence learning new systems quickly
