About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our team in Moranbah, QLD. You'll be responsible for maintaining a range of fixed and mobile plant across our quarry operations. This is a full-time, site-based role working 12-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance and repairs on: • Fixed and Mobile Plant - crushers, screens, conveyors, gensets, loaders, excavators, dump trucks • Light vehicles and ancillary equipment • Heavy road transport - servicing and basic mechanical repairs as required
• Perform scheduled servicing, inspections, and breakdown repairs
• Support general labouring and site maintenance as needed
• Maintain accurate service records
• Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
• Relevant trade qualification (e.g. Cert III Engineering - Mechanical Trade)
• Solid mechanical fault-finding and repair skills
• Safety-conscious, reliable, and a strong team player
• Ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with hydraulic systems and crushing equipment highly regarded

Desirable (Not Essential):

• Forklift (LF) licence
• Heavy Rigid (HR) licence
• Crane/Telehandler ticket
