The role:

We're looking for a Lead Full Stack Developer to play a pivotal role in delivering high-impact solutions for a key Defence client. This is a hands-on role with architectural influence! You'll not only design and build across the full stack, but also set direction, refine architecture, and ensure best practices are embedded across the software lifecycle. As the technical lead on the ground, you'll take ownership of technical delivery, building and integrating robust, secure applications that make a real difference.

What you'll be doing:

• Writing clean, maintainable code in .NET, C#, Node, SQL, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular/React, and Azure, ensuring secure and reliable solutions.

• Take ownership of design, coding standards, integration, testing, documentation, and post-go-live support.

• Designing and developing across the full stack: from the data layer, through integrations, to the front-end.

• Work across REST APIs, JSON, and Azure DevOps practices, deploying and managing apps in the cloud.

• Providing technical oversight and mentoring junior engineers, guiding external contractors and vendors, and foster a culture of learning and collaboration.

What you'll bring:

• 7+years full stack development experience across C#, .NET, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Front-end expertise with Angular and/or React (breadth across both preferred).

• Experience working with databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or similar).

• Knowledge of security and identity/access management implementation.

• Proven skills in integrations (REST APIs, JSON).

• Cloud experience in Azure, including app deployment and DevOps practices.

• Familiarity with integration platforms (Boomi or similar).

Note: This role is only open to Australian Citizens due to the required Defence Security Clearance.
