Junior Architectural Draftsperson

About the role

Gen One Design Group is seeking a full-time role Junior Architectural Draftsperson to join our team in our Sydney CBD office. As our Junior Architectural Draftsperson, you will be an integral part of our design process, responsible for translating architectural concepts into detailed construction drawings, while learning the finer details of the industry.

What youll be doing

• Produce accurate and detailed 2D and 3D drawings using ArchiCAD software

• Assist in the development of design concepts and solutions

• Collaborate with consultants, Council, Private Certifiers, and clients to ensure design requirements are met

• Prepare reports, specifications, and other project documentation

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, building codes, and regulations

• Provide support to the design team as required

What were looking for

• Diploma or degree in Architectural Drafting is a must.

• Minimum 1 year full-time experience as an Architectural Draftsperson

• Proficient in the use of ArchiCAD software is a must.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• A passion for design and a keen eye for detail
