About the role: 

Reporting to the General Manager and working collaboratively with key stakeholders you will be accountable for claims and underwriting management of our members. Duties include:

Developing and sending insurance quotes to members. 

Managing the claims and underwriting processes including:

• Sending members claim packs. 

• Liaising with members, insurance providers, employers, solicitors etc. to obtain necessary information to lodge claim

• Preparing Trustee Submissions, Certificates of Currency, Insurance Acceptance/Decline letters etc.

• Maintaining contact with members when on claim and following up all outstanding requirements. 

• Preparing underwriting cover sheets and submitting insurance requests and personal statements with insurer.

• Managing incoming insurance related calls and emails

• Preparing Monthly reports

• Maintaining records on CRM 

About You:

You will have 2+ years experience (mandatory) in a similar role within a superannuation fund with a strong knowledge of insurance and the claims process.

You will have excellent communication skills and enjoy building relationships with external stakeholders.

You will be self-motivated, inquisitive, empathetic, and a problem solver. 

A working knowledge of Salesforce will be viewed favourably.
