HC TRUCK DRIVER WITH FORKLIFT LICENCE
The Company:
Operating as Victoria's leading lawn grower since 1985, Lilydale Instant Lawn services the domestic, trade and commercial market. Lilydale Instant Lawn's farm portfolio comprises of 3 farms. The head office is based at our Yarra Glen farm, with farms also located at Pakenham, and our large scale, sand-based farm at Bairnsdale.
The Role:
With significant growth in our Logistics Fleet, we are seeking a Full-Time HC Truck Driver with Forklift Licence to assist in delivery of turf to our customers and to safely operate and maintain the allocated plant to our standard to achieve the “Lilydale Experience”.
Our Logistics Depot is located at our Pakenham Farm. However as required, you could be asked to assist at any of our other locations at Yarra Glen, and Bairnsdale Farms.
Responsibilities:
Loading and unloading of turf and fertilizer for customer deliveries,
Delivery of turf to customers in a courteous and respectful manner,
Safe operation of forklift and associated equipment,
Completing daily pre-start checklists using our telematic system,
Ensuring high level of customer service to all Lilydale Instant Lawn customers,
Ensuring HC, and High-Risk Licence are current,
Commit and adhere to Lilydale Instant Lawns OH&S Policies and Procedures.
Establish and maintain high standard of housekeeping and cleanliness
Participate and contribute in scheduled Toolbox Meetings
Trailer hauling from Pakenham to Bairnsdale for collection of turf and reloading trailers as required.
The right candidate will have the following:
Minimum 2 years' experience driving HC Prime Movers in the inner and outer suburbs
A current Victorian HC / MC Drivers' License
High Risk licence (forklift endorsed) including relevant experience
Flexibility to work across different sites
An understanding of CoR and OH&S requirements with the ability to comply with all standards
Intermediate oral and written communication skills
Ability to interpret given instructions and tasks
Ability to work in a team environment with other employees and customers
Ability to problem solve
Excellent customer service skills that promote the “Lilydale Experience”
Ability to work Saturday
