About the role

Austrack Campers' is seeking an experienced Caravan Manufacturing Assembly/Fitter with experience in 12 Volt electrical systems to join our production team in Pakenham, Victoria. This full-time role is responsible for the assembly and fitting of our high-quality caravans, contributing to the success of our growing manufacturing business.

What you'll be doing

• Assemble caravan components according to specifications and blueprints
• Installation and termination of 12-volt systems. 
• Fit and install various caravan features and equipment, including electrical, plumbing, and cabinetry
• Perform quality checks throughout the manufacturing process to ensure products meet our high standards
• Collaborate with the production team to identify and implement process improvements
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment to support efficient and safe operations

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a similar assembly or manufacturing role, ideally within the caravan or recreational vehicle industry
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Experience with 12-volt electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Certification or training in relevant trades (e.g. carpentry, electrical, plumbing) is highly desirable
