About the role

Brient trade services pty ltd is seeking a Handyperson to join our team in Southport, QLD. As a Handyperson, you will be responsible for providing a range of maintenance and general repair services to our clients. Terms of employment are completely negotiable and times are flexible. Candidates with trade backgrounds in paint, carpentry or cabinetry will be preferred. Up skilling as a plumber is also an option within this role

What youll be doing

• Perform general maintenance and repair work, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, and if its broken I need it fixed.

• Event set up or furniture removal

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, then complete the necessary repairs in a timely and efficient manner

• Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide high-quality customer service

• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are well-maintained

• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures

• Assist with other duties as required to support the wider team

What were looking for

• Presentable and well mannered

• Proven experience as a Handyperson or in a similar trades role

• Working at heights

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Excellent customer service orientation and communication abilities

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Commitment to safety and attention to detail

• A valid drivers licence
