General Manager, Contracts and Assurance Overview
Ongoing, full-time opportunity within the Victorian Public Service to provide strategic leadership of the Contracts and Assurance work portfolio.
About The RoleThe General Manager, Contracts and Assurance (CA) reports directly to the Director, Contracts and Infrastructure Branch and has overall strategic leadership responsibility for all contract management activities, including procurement, within the portfolio. The role requires a confident and strategic leader who can establish strategies for managing departmental risks and issues in relation to contract management and procurement, while representing departmental business needs. There is a strong focus on driving innovation and continuous improvement to ensure value for money through best practice contract administration and contemporary commercial management approaches.
