Customer Service (200990960) Dubbo, Australia Customer Service Officer – Full Time

Are you an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service? We’re seeking a Customer Service Officer to join a leading provider of LPG and related products and services across Australia and the South Pacific.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a well‑established organisation known for safety, innovation, sustainability, and strong community values. You’ll be the primary point of contact for residential and commercial customers, providing timely, courteous and accurate service across a range of customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the main contact for customers via phone, email and face‑to‑face interactions.
  • Establish and manage customer accounts (domestic and commercial).
  • Process customer enquiries, orders, payments and invoices.
  • Provide advice on product usage, delivery, appliance installation and service options.
  • Handle debtors, price adjustments and banking tasks.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date customer records.
  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors regarding stock levels and scheduling.
  • Support other branch functions as required by management.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Participate in training and performance management activities.
  • Assist with administrative duties, including correspondence and filing.
  • Take overflow calls from other service centres when needed.
Skills and Experience Required
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service and administration.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven ability to multi‑task and prioritise responsibilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer systems.
  • Able to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Experience in resolving customer concerns and managing conflict effectively.
  • A proactive, motivated and safety‑conscious approach to work.
  • Ability to complete Drug and Alcohol Testing and Functional Assessments.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
