Ventia has over 35 years experience working with Defence and has been delivering Firefighting Services for 26 years. With a new contract awarded in 2024 for 6 years and up to two additional 2 year extensions - now is the time to join Ventia’s dedicated Fire Services Team.
We are currently seeking a Firefighter to join the Fire and Rescue operations at RAAF Base Pearce in WA.
Duration Of Shifts Are As FollowsMonday to Thursday - 0800 – 1700hrs; Friday - 0800 – 1500hrs
About The RoleThis exciting position will see you work as part of a team of Firefighters who are responsible for responding to incidents including airfield, structural and bushfire management.
ResponsibilitiesYou will perform duties as directed by the Station Officers including but not limited to:
To be eligible for this role, you must be able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance up to a level of negative vetting 1 (secret). As a result of this requirement the incumbent must be an Australian Citizen, be able to pass an Australian Federal Police check and the ability to successfully pass a CASA Basic Class 2 pre-employment medical.
