What's the role?

This is a 12-month parental leave cover for a part-time job share role ( 2-3 days per week - Monday, Thursday and Friday ) , ideal for a proactive and highly organised Executive Assistant who enjoys understanding the bigger picture and anticipating the needs of senior leaders. Supporting the Chief Digital and Technology Officer , you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the function while helping the CTO stay focused on strategic priorities.

You’ll join the Technology, Data & Digital (TDD) group, which sits at the forefront of digital and technology innovation at News Corp Australia — the #1 destination for news, lifestyle, sport and business content, reaching the largest online audience in the country. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is naturally curious, and thrives on staying one step ahead.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level executive support to the Chief Digital and Technology Officer
  • Manage complex diary coordination, scheduling meetings and prioritising commitments
  • Prepare reports, presentations, correspondence and spreadsheets with a high level of accuracy
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements and itineraries
  • Manage invoice processing and corporate card reconciliation
  • Support internal events, HR requirements and internal communications within the team
Who are you?
  • An experienced Executive Assistant with a strong track record supporting senior leaders
  • Proactive, resourceful and comfortable taking initiative to keep things moving
  • Skilled at building strong relationships and collaborating effectively within a job-share arrangement
  • Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining confidentiality
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with changing priorities
  • A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills and sound business judgement
