We're looking for a commercially minded Legal Counsel to join our in-house legal team. Reporting to the General Counsel and working alongside experienced legal professionals, you'll provide trusted legal advice across a diverse and complex organisation, partnering with stakeholders to enable great outcomes while protecting Uniting's interests.
The opportunity
The work is varied, interesting and genuinely impactful.
You'll provide practical, commercially focused legal advice across a broad range of matters including commercial contracts, procurement, regulatory compliance, governance, disputes, investigations and statutory interpretation. Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you'll identify legal risks early, provide pragmatic solutions and support strategic projects from inception through to delivery.
You'll also contribute to strengthening legal capability across Uniting by supporting policy development, compliance initiatives and helping build a strong culture of ethical decision-making and risk awareness.
