International SOS is seeking a Regional Security Director based in Sydney to support security advisory, crisis management, intelligence analysis, and incident response services for clients. The role involves acting as a trusted risk advisor and assisting commercial teams to develop capabilities.

• Serve as the senior security expert and partner to our ANZ commercial team;
• Engage with clients to deliver intelligence analysis, country risk assessments, and crisis management services to prepare for and respond to global risks such as political violence, crime, geopolitics, and natural hazards;
• Support commercial teams in articulating capabilities during new business opportunities;
• Represent International SOS at industry forums, media engagements, and risk events;
• Contribute to strategic planning, client retention, and thought leadership in workforce and business resilience services;
• Collaborate with global security and commercial teams to support clients.

• Degree in security, risk management, international relations, politics, law enforcement, or disaster management; a master's degree is a plus but not required;
• 10-15 years of experience in intelligence analysis, risk management, or client advisory services within government, security, corporate, or NGO sectors;
• Strong interest in global affairs, geopolitics, and travel risk;
• Ability to engage with stakeholders, present, and brief effectively in both written and verbal formats;
• Experience working across cultures and communicating with diverse stakeholders;
• Background in international environments through work or assignments;
• Fluency in English, capable of speaking at webinars, writing assessments, and developing proposals;
• Some commercial experience and acumen;
• Willingness to travel within Australia, New Zealand, and occasionally internationally;
• Availability to support clients outside regular hours during major security events or global team collaborations.
