About The Team
The Marketing & Fundraising Division generates income through Campaigns, Direct Marketing, Gifts in Wills, Partnerships and Major Gifts. The Campaigns Team, within the Mass Fundraising Unit, manages 8+ campaigns and raises over $15 million a year, with full channel responsibilities and a mix of mature, growth, and innovation campaigns.
About The Role
Responsible for managing and delivering peer-to-peer fundraising campaign plans to grow CCNSW’s supporter base, deepen loyalty and increase revenue and profitability. The role may transfer to other campaigns as needed based on strategic direction.
This is a full-time contract role ending in October 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy and planning
- Regularly scan the industry to benchmark activity, track trends and identify opportunities to grow and optimise campaigns.
- Work with the Campaigns Lead to develop annual campaign plans to achieve revenue growth and improve profitability by increasing the supporter base, loyalty, conversion, and lifetime value.
- Use data insights to direct campaign plans and tactics.
- Test and learn with new propositions, brand extensions and channel tactics to improve ROI.
- Contribute to annual campaign budget setting.
- Collaborate with interstate counterparts to share best practice and pursue national efficiencies.
- Campaign execution
- Manage the execution of all channels (excluding eDM and SMS), monitor performance and identify opportunities for real-time optimisation.
- Design supporter journeys, timings, audience selection and channel benchmarks with input from Supporter Experience team.
- Manage merchandise strategies to drive ROI.
- Brief and manage agencies (website, creative, media, events, fundraising) to deliver objectives with ROI.
- Brief and manage internal stakeholders to drive fundraising and participation across the state.
- Produce campaign materials aligned with CCNSW’s visual and verbal brand.
- Tracking and Reporting
- Set up campaign reporting dashboards with Marketing Insights, Digital, Media Agency and Community Fundraising.
- Track revenue and expenditure against budgets; undertake regular reporting for continuous improvement.
- Conduct post-campaign analysis to inform strategic planning.
- People Management
- Manage a Campaigns Coordinator to achieve team objectives and support multi-campaign workloads.
EssentialAbout you
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g., business or marketing) or equivalent fundraising strategy experience.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment across multiple projects.
- Well-developed planning, implementation, and reporting skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Data-driven marketing experience.
- Experience working to a budget and developing go-to-market fundraising plans.
- Experience managing media and/or creative agencies.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage own workload and work well in a team.
- Strong computer skills, including Excel and online tools.
- Experience working towards income targets as a team.
Desirable
- Office 365 experience.
- Experience with web analytics (Google Analytics).
- Experience in peer-to-peer fundraising and digital marketing (especially social media).
- Experience in new product development.
