Overview

GR Employment Ltd is looking for a Class 1 driver to work for one of our clients based in Newcastle. You will be handling small parcels, and this is a temporary placement.

Monday to Friday, various day shifts available. You will be doing collections and deliveries. Typical shift: 10:00 am – 6:45 pm.

• Carry out vehicle checks and maintain the cleanliness of the cab.
• Ensure the load is correctly secured before driving.
• Perform collections and deliveries as required.

• Valid UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
• Digital Tachograph Card and CPC qualification
• Minimum 12 months experience for Class 1
• Professional at all times with a flexible approach to work
• No more than 3 points on licence
• No INI10, TT99 or DR10

Pay rate: £15.28 per hour (overtime £24.54)

• Statutory holiday entitlement, pro rata
• Ongoing support from your dedicated consultant
• Weekly pay and pension scheme
