You'll be guiding customers through our menu, answering queries, recommending options for dietary needs, and upselling like a pro. About the RoleThis full-time position is Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm at our West Melbourne office. You'll be part of a small, friendly team that takes pride in helping customers place orders with confidence and ease.
Key Responsibilities
Answer customer enquiries via phone and email
Take and process catering orders accurately and efficiently
Recommend suitable products based on customer needs, including dietary requirements (e.g. gluten-free, vegetarian, dairy-free)
Upsell or suggest add-ons that enhance the customer's order
Troubleshoot order issues and liaise with internal teams
Maintain customer records and update CRM systems
Clerical Grade 3 Tasks (HIGA Award)
Respond to and action customer inquiries in your area of responsibility
Use software to create, format, edit, and manage business documents
Maintain paper and electronic filing systems
Apply product knowledge to guide customers and direct internal communications
Operate phones, printers, scanners, and other standard office equipment
Accurately enter order data into systems and update records
About You
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A friendly and professional phone manner
High attention to detail and accuracy
Interest in food and ability to learn our product range quickly
Previous experience in admin, customer service or hospitality is a plus—but not essential
