We are seeking a Coordinator Speech Pathology to join our dynamic team within the FSFHG Speech Pathology department.
We currently have one (1) Permanent vacancy for the Coordinator Speech Pathology role at Fremantle Hospital, at 45.6 hours per fortnight (0.6 FTE).

In a Coordinator Speech Pathology role at FSFHG you will engage in professional practice, delivering advanced, high quality Speech Pathology services. You will offer specialised level of advice to other senior medical, nursing and allied health staff in management of patients with complex communication and swallowing problems in gerontology and subacute care including inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation. You will manage staff within the relevant specialty/service areas, including planned/ unplanned leave, performance development and management. You will also support the Head of Department by undertaking operational and strategic management, clinical service planning and delivery and driving clinical research and service development. This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Part Time or Fixed Term Part Time appointments. Positions can be located either at Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) and Fremantle Hospital (FH).

Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.
Fremantle Hospital is a 300-bed specialist hospital focused on providing high-quality aged care, mental health, secondary rehabilitation, planned surgeries and medical services.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/01/2027.
