Join CQUniversity as a Coordinator, Project Administration and lead governance and reporting excellence within our Facilities Management Directorate.

Our directorate delivers innovative infrastructure, capital works, and maintenance services that support teaching, research, and community engagement. We are committed to sustainability, innovation, and creating safe, functional, and inspiring spaces for students, staff, and visitors.

In this pivotal role, you will provide leadership and direction to ensure high-quality governance, financial monitoring, and reporting across our infrastructure project portfolio. Working closely with Project Managers and reporting to the Associate Director, you will drive continuous improvement in administrative and reporting processes to support successful project delivery.

Position Requirements
  • Proven management experience with ability to lead, supervise and develop a high-performing team that supports project administration, procurement and financial management deliverables.
  • Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle in complex infrastructure or capital works, with expertise in project management frameworks, governance, and compliance.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to prepare tender recommendations, submissions, reports, and briefing papers.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and manage competing priorities in a complex environment.
  • Completion (or current enrolment) of postgraduate qualifications with extensive relevant experience; or significant management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
