Amazing job opportunity with life balance in the Lower North Shore Frenchys Cafe is looking for a Cook! Dynamic, French Cafe based in Mosman. Part time and full-time positions available in the future depending on your hunger to succeed with us. This role will involve: Working alongside and following Executive chef's guidelines; ensuring excellence and consistency in the product delivered to customers preparing and cooking food seasoning food during cooking portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes preparing food to meet special dietary requirements eventually plan menus and estimate food requirements with our team eventually train other kitchen staff and apprentices Actioning daily and weekly systems and procedures to ensure a high level of presentation, hygiene, service and product quality Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and food standards. HACCP knowledge preferred but not necessary; training will be provided Responsibility and accountability for your section. The successful applicant for the position must: Be motivated, dynamic, clean, focused and punctual Min 2 years' experience in a kitchen Ideally possess a Food Safe Handler Supervisor Certificate Be flexible to work a range of different shifts Be able to work under pressure and within a team environment Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills Have a positive and energetic attitude and a passion for consistently presenting excellent meals What does Frenchy's Cafe offer you?
