Job Description

As Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth for power generation and lighting tower products in Victoria. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients, combining technical expertise with consultative selling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the Victorian sales plan aligned with branch targets.
  • Manage existing accounts while actively generating new business opportunities.
  • Provide tailored technical solutions, including generator upfit requirements and distribution board configurations.
  • Oversee the end-to-end sales process: quoting, costing, and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with the service division for technical support and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records in HubSpot CRM and deliver on KPIs.
  • Maintaining customer relationships are essential whilst also engaging new clients through planned weekly visits.
The Successful ApplicantThe Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • A trade background (diesel fitter or electrician preferred) combined with strong sales experience.
  • Proven experience in power generation or related technical sales.
  • Ability to cost jobs accurately and provide consultative solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, resilience, and a results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Motivation to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
