About the Role 

The position is responsible for delivering an informed, fair, and timely claims management service across a personal motor claims product.

Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Supporting the delivery of exceptional broker customer service and the implementation of plans to drive a high level of performance across the team.

  • The ability to develop strong internal and external relationships and ensure efficient and productive team and claim outcomes.

  • Providing ongoing support, coaching and development to staff, and undertaking the performance and career development planning.

  • Communicate and maintain claims KPI's and ensure the team adheres to compliance standards.

  • Complaint resolution as the final escalation point before Internal Dispute Resolution.

 About You 

  • Strong knowledge of Insurance Claims disciplines, practices, and products as well as knowledge of the Insurance industry regulatory requirements (mandatory).

  • Motor claim proficiency (mandatory).

  • Experience in dealing with Broker Networks, repairers, assessors, and direct customers.

  • Proven team management & leadership skills.

  • Understanding of Claims handling authority, Claims Manual and Service Level Agreements.
