Are you an experienced Tax Accountant looking for a flexible role in a welcoming, client-focused practice? We’re looking for someone confident in preparing tax returns, BAS/IAS, and general tax compliance to join our growing team.

Flexible hours

This is initially a casual/part-time position with hours that can grow over time. During tax season (July–October), the role becomes busier, with full-time hours. Outside of tax time, weekly hours are flexible to suit your lifestyle.

• Preparing individual, business & trust tax returns confidently and efficiently
• Preparing and lodging BAS, IAS and PAYG
• Meeting with clients in person and online to gather information and answer questions
• Ensuring compliance with ATO requirements
• Maintaining accurate workpapers and supporting documentation
• Assisting with general tax and accounting tasks where needed

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Australian tax (essential)
• Strong experience with BAS and tax returns
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• Solid attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage own workflow
• Experience with Xero is essential
