About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Assistant Chief Concierge to support the daily operations of our Concierge team. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining brand standards, and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for greeting and welcoming guests
  • Acquire extensive knowledge of the premises and the nearby venues and businesses to make the most suitable recommendations
  • Respond to complaints and find the appropriate solution
  • Assist in on‑site events such as weddings or corporate meetings.
  • Support the effective day‑to‑day operations of the Concierge team
  • Demonstrate proficiency across all Guest Services functions, including butler service, in‑room dining, porterage, and valet.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to Concierge.
  • Manage guest requests, bookings, and correspondence with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure seamless guest experiences, particularly for VIPs and group arrivals.
  • Assist in service recovery and uphold positive guest and colleague interactions.
  • Maintain accurate records, logs, and tracking systems in line with hotel policies.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role the candidate should possess the following:

  • Previous experiences as a Concierge within a five star hotel or similar environment preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Sydney’s attractions, restaurants, and services.
  • Must possess a professional presentation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead by example and support team development.

High attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.

  • Flexibility to work across various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Extremely organised and well developed computer knowledge
  • Extensive knowledge of Sydney and surrounds

Must already have a valid visa to work in Australia
