Mission: In addition to ASC Ingot Processing, this operator accomplishes hands‑on training of ASC Ingot Processors. This operator also oversees the qualification and certification of ASC Ingot Processors and provides feedback to supervision.

Principal Accountabilities

Train and Certify ASC Ingot Processors.
- Progress new or transfer ASC Ingot Processors through the qualification and certification process. Trains employees on new skills and works with employees to improve performance to satisfactory levels or maintain satisfactory performance.
- Perform module audits.
- Evaluate employee against certification requirements.
- Give objective, fact‑based input for performance reviews. Participate in performance measure feedback and performance review of ASC Ingot Processors.
- Avoid favoritism or the perception of favoritism in performing training/certification duties.
Training Program Support:
- Create and revise training modules.
- Establish and revise written evaluation.
- Design and update skills demonstration and criteria for qualification and certification.
ASC Ingot Processor support and audits.
- Maintain records of employees and overall departments.
- Perform ongoing evaluation of employees and random audits.
- Stay current on ASC Ingot Processor techniques in all aspects of interpreting.
Other
- Be sensitive to and proactively support the maintenance of a harassment/discrimination free environment.

Qualifications

Current ASC Ingot Processor Trainer certification desired or Tier‑A certified within 30 days.
Be self‑motivated (as determined by feedback from the Trainer Coordinator or Production Supervisor) and capable of high performance with little or no supervision.
Consistently rate in the top 20% in Project Team Build issues and demonstrate good work habits, including a history of quality workmanship.
No disciplinary action for Quality, Productivity or Behavior over the last 12 months.
Willing to, as required by production needs, change department assignments, work with others in more than one department, and adjust shift schedules.
Outstanding performance as determined by feedback from the Trainer Coordinator or Production Supervisor in prior progression through the ASC Ingot Processor Training and Certification Program is desired (does not apply to ASC Ingot Processors who did not have access to the program).
Demonstrate ability to follow detailed instructions, make progress observations, and accurately record technical data required.
Demonstrate ability to communicate verbally and in writing; instructions must be clear and unambiguous, consistently ensuring directions are understood, resulting in work that rarely, if ever, needs to be redone due to quality of communication.
Have good facilitation skill and the ability to teach individuals and/or small groups.
Maintain a satisfactory attendance record.
Maintain a satisfactory safety record.
Have held an ASC Ingot Processor position for a minimum of 12 months during the prior 3 years.
