About the role Chris Warren Homes Pty Ltd is seeking a Residential Construction Site Supervisor to join our team in Gladstone, Queensland. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction on our residential building sites, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards and on schedule. What you'll be doing Coordinating and supervising on-site construction crews, including tradespeople, labourers and suppliers Monitoring project progress, identifying and resolving issues, communicating with and providing weekly work-in-progress updates to the project management team Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with building codes, safety regulations and company policies Liaising with clients (on occasion), subcontractors, suppliers and other stakeholders to address concerns and maintain positive relationships Maintaining accurate records, documenting site activities and providing regular progress reports What we're looking for Ideally, we would like someone with extensive experience (5+ years) in a residential construction site supervision role, but this is not necessarily required Sound understanding of building codes, construction methods, and project management principles Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and motivate trades Good communication and people skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients (on occasion), subcontractors, suppliers and other stakeholders Proficient in the use of construction management software and technology is preferred, but not essential Relevant trade qualifications or a construction management degree preferred What we offer At Chris Warren Homes, we are committed to providing a supportive and collaborative work environment that fosters professional development and growth.
