• Based in Springwood, QLD
• Part time (0.5FTE), fixed‑term position until 30/06/2027

• The Art Therapist is responsible for individual and group sessions to people aged 16 years and older with moderate to severe mental health needs
• You will be expected to function autonomously, as well as work collaboratively with the other clinicians within the program
• You will participate in the planning and development of services for people with mental health issues and their families which are consistent with best practice standards and evidence‑based care

• Must have one of the following: Registration with ANZACATA or AMTA
• Knowledge and Skills which are gained through qualifications and previous experience in a mental health service delivery environment
• Proven judgement and evaluation skills demonstrating a working understanding assessment and care planning
• Sound understanding of the public, non‑government and private mental health systems and programs and associated non‑mental health programs in a community setting
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills showing an ability and sensitivity to work with people who have or are at risk of developing a mental illness
• Demonstrated skills in organisation and time‑management, including the ability to work under pressure and balance multiple tasks
• Excellent verbal communication and writing skills
• Proven understanding of duty of care, rights to privacy and confidentiality
• Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a Blue Card
• Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance
