About the Role
Reporting to the Butchery Manager, you will be responsible for:
Preparing, cutting, trimming, boning and portioning a wide range of premium meat products.
Producing attractive, well-presented displays that reflect Boatshed Market's high standards.
Providing outstanding customer service and expert product advice.
Maintaining food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards.
Managing stock rotation and minimising waste.
Working collaboratively with the wider fresh food team to deliver an exceptional shopping experience.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience as a qualified butcher in a retail or premium butchery environment.
Strong knife skills and knowledge of meat preparation and presentation.
A commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
A positive attitude, reliability and a strong work ethic.
Flexibility to work weekends and a rotating roster.
