Information Quality (IQ) is a leading Specialist Digital Delivery and Asset Management company supporting the Mining, Oil & Gas, New Energy, Utilities, Renewables, Infrastructure and Defence sectors. We deliver specialist services in Digital Delivery and Information Management, Digital Engineering, Asset Management and Master Data Management, Operations Support and Completions and Commissioning to Tier 1 Owner Operators in asset-intensive industries.

Role

We are looking for an IT Support team member with strong L1 and L2 generalist experience who can take ownership of our day-to-day IT function. This role suits someone who enjoys variety, learns quickly, and is confident working independently.

While you will have access to an IT Manager for escalation and guidance, your ability to manage most activities autonomously is critical.

You will support our IT hardware, software, networks, user productivity tools, and Microsoft 365 environment, while also contributing to improvements, small projects, and system/process enhancement activities. No two days will be the same—this role requires initiative, curiosity, and the confidence to tackle new tasks.

In addition to user support, you will have opportunities to work on higher-level tasks such as workflow creation, PowerApps, SharePoint/M365 automation, and assisting with in-flight IT and business improvement projects.

Required Attributes and Skills
  • Excellent communication skills, strong analytical thinking, and a high level of initiative.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and manage competing priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Technologically savvy with solid competency in Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Online, Azure AD).
  • Microsoft Access experience will be highly desired.
  • Experience providing Level 1 and Level 2 support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and user issues.
  • Familiarity with:
    • Microsoft Exchange administration
    • Network share permissions & access management
    • Hardware asset management, procurement, and lifecycle management
  • Experience preparing or supporting Microsoft workflows, PowerApps, Power Automate, or PowerBI is highly desirable.
  • A willingness to research new solutions, improve existing systems, and implement processes that enhance IT capability across the business.
  • Strong task and time-management skills, with the eagerness to learn and adapt.
