This role is responsible for driving plant reliability, operational performance, and continuous improvement across critical tonnage production assets, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and long-term asset sustainability.
What you will enjoy doing\n
\n - Support in delivering safe, reliable, and efficient operations through continuous improvement initiatives across the Area’s tonnage production sites
\n - Lead plant reliability improvement activities, including root cause analysis (RCA) of equipment failures, management of corrective actions, and development of reliability-focused solutions
\n - Identify, plan, and execute reliability, maintenance, and process efficiency improvement projects to increase plant availability, optimise production rates, and reduce specific power consumption (kWh/t)
\n - Coordinate engineering Management of Change (MOC) activities for plant modifications, including risk assessments, HAZOPs, technical documentation, equipment specification, contractor management, commissioning, and tracking of project costs and benefits
\n - Monitor plant performance, machine health, and emerging reliability risks through predictive maintenance (PdM) programs, condition reporting, and KPI analysis, ensuring timely intervention and reporting
\n - Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and company requirements, including process safety, Major Hazard Facility (MHF) obligations, pressure equipment standards, critical controls, inspections, and testing programs

What makes you great\n
\n - Degree-qualified Engineer (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation preferred)
\n - Experience in process plant operations or reliability engineering or process engineering
\n - Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions
\n - Proven ability to drive safety, reliability, and operational improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory, and company standards
\n - Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across operations, maintenance, engineering, and contractor teams
