A busy and long-standing health-hub in the heart of Wollongong is seeking full-time and part-time General Practitioners. The centre is one of the longest-standing medical centres in the area, with a well-established and diverse patient base, and is located in a DPA-approved location.
The practice is a mixed billing centre with an established reputation for being community-focused. The centre operates Monday to Saturday across two spacious levels, featuring 15 consultation rooms, a fully-equipped treatment room, and a dedicated procedure room. The facilities offer convenient access to a range of on-site allied health services, including X-ray, pathology, physiotherapy, psychology, podiatry, and a specialised Skin Cancer Clinic. Experienced and exceptional nursing support is provided to all GPs, with full-time Chronic Disease Management (CDM) and Health Management nurses. The full-time administration and leadership teams provide support for individual billing choices, assisting GPs in maximising their earning potential and growing their patient base.
Practitioners are offered clinical autonomy as independent contractors, along with flexible working arrangements. The practice supports professional growth, including opportunities for GP Registrar supervisors. The practice's partnership with the RACGP simplifies the process of achieving and recording CPD requirements, with free in-house CPD opportunities and discounted registration for industry events. A collegial environment is fostered with support from state-based Medical Directors. Practitioners with special interests in areas such as skin, aesthetics, and occupational medicine are encouraged, with provision and support for these services.
