We have casual positions available, and we want you to be part of the exciting journey of opening our brand-new Distribution Centre!

This is a hands-on role processing jewellery through our Distribution Centre located in Cannon Hill. Reporting the DC Manager, we are looking for hardworking individuals to provide administration support, pick/pack high volumes of small profile products for retail and online orders, and handle product through the DC with a high level or accuracy. While administration skills and knowledge of distribution processes and invoicing are desirable, they are not essential.

Casual hours will range between 15-38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, depending on volumes. There may also be some weekend work during peak periods. You will need to be available for a 7:00 AM start with reliable transport. Roles will commence mid-July for the Distribution Centre start up period and likely ongoing.

In this role, the primary responsibilities are:

  • Picking store and online orders using a RFI handheld scanner.
  • Checking and marking off sales orders for inventory accuracy.
  • Packing inventory into jewellery boxes to fulfill online orders.
  • Counting, labelling, and processing incoming inventory.
  • Providing administrative support for processes within our Microsoft Dynamics ERP system

The successful applicant will ideally have:

  • Great attention to detail
  • Team player mindset – you will be part of a team of 5 people working in a fast-paced, safe environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet KPI measures.
  • Physical stamina – you will be required to stand and move for long periods.
  • Flexibility – most shifts will start at 7am but may vary based on the volume of orders between 5am and 10pm, including some weekend shifts (with applicable penalty rates)
  • Previous exposure to a fast-paced e-commerce or retail distribution operation
  • Demonstrated computer knowledge and administrative skills in previous distribution roles (Experience with Microsoft D365 software desired, but not essential)
